December 31, 2007 – Costs award of $2.1 million for City of Hamilton (former Region):
Justice David Crane ordered the St. Elizabeth Home Society to pay costs of $2.1 million the City of Hamilton. Evans Sweeny Bordin LLP represented the City. This order completed the trial portion of a case tried over 15 months between April 2004 and July 2005. A full copy of the final Judgment is at:
