Jordan Diacur Completes ITAW

Congratulations to Jordan Diacur who completed the Osgoode Hall Law School Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop on July 14th.   Jordan describes his experience as “Extraordinarily stressful and extraordinarily helpful. They are not kidding when they call it intensive—there is no doubt that it is the best preparation available for the courtroom, aside from the courtroom itself, of course.”

This yearly week long course is ‘Canada’s preeminent trial advocacy skills program.’  The program is conducted in a learn-by-doing format which allows program participants to develop and refine their advocacy skills.  The program culminates with the opportunity to act as counsel in a mock trial.  Participants’ advocacy presentations are videotaped each day and critiqued by the country’s top advocates, who provide individualized feedback.
